In the leshoz, forests of group I prevail - 28377 hectares or 51.2%; forests of group II account for 27006 hectares or 48.8%. In the forests of group I, the category of water-protecting forests prevails (45.4%).

In the leshoz, the most common are plantations with a total of 0.7, occupying 46.8% of the forested land. Low-density stands, with a fullness of 0.3–0.4 occupy & nbsp; 2.7%, high-full, with a fullness of 0.8–1.0 -  13.8% of forested land. A small proportion of high-grade stands has a negative effect on the possibility of selective and gradual logging, since a certain number of undergrowth of economically valuable species is necessary in middle-grade stands.

The area of maturing plantings is 23.4% of the forested area, ripe and overripe - 16.0%. Thus, the age structure of forests is characterized by a significant number of mature stands.

The largest area occupied by the land with the predominant species - birch. Their area occupies 36% of the forest covered area. Then there are lands covered with pine in dry land and pine in the marsh, their area is 32.3% and 16.4% of the forested area respectively. Spruce and black alder occupy 7.2% of the land covered with forest. The area of such breeds as Alder gray, Aspen, Lipa is insignificant and makes up to 1% of the area of forest covered lands.

The age structure of the leshoz is generally uniform. For the leshoz, plantings of классаV age class prevail and constitute 12,234 hectares (25.5% of forest land), then plantings of V age class occupy an area of 9,358 hectares (19.5%) and plantations of Class II age - 7,349 hectares (15, 3%). Then there are plantings of the ІI class of age - 6,161 ha (12.9%), Class VI - 4,979 ha (10.4%), Ι class - 4,068 ha (8.5%), Class VII - 2,699 ha (5 , 6%) and the smallest area is occupied by plantations of the VΙІI and IX age classes - 1,079 hectares (2.3%). The average age of plantations is 55 years.

The largest area of forest land covered by forestry is occupied by pine stands (48.7%), including pine in dry land, 32.3%, which are characterized by uneven age structure. Their area is 23 353 hectares, including pine in dry land 15 488 hectares, stock - 3 759.2 thousand m.3, including pine dry land 2 997.8 thousand m3  .

Birch covers an area of 17,252 hectares, while the stock of birch stands is equal to 2,334.7 thousand meters3.

The total area of plantations is 47,927 hectares, the reserve is 7,470.2 thousand m.3.Thus, the average stock per 1 ha is 155.9 m.3/ha.
